Hi! My name is Cherri Megasko, but you can call me “Cher.” I make up 50 percent of the Bucket List Travel Club. Please take a few minutes to get to know us and let us know what you think!
My friends will tell you that I’ve always been a little unpredictable, walking that fine line between conformance and rebellion. But I find it keeps people on their toes since they never really know what to expect from me. I kind of like it that way!
Traveling has always been a passion of mine, but it wasn’t until a few years back that I started traveling in earnest. That’s when I found my true zen. Traveling made me happier than I’d ever been in my life. So I surrendered my corporate badge, renewed my passport and embraced a whole new life of excitement and adventure.
Snorkeling locales and the developing world are my favorite destinations, but I’ll gladly go wherever the opportunities are most curious. My husband, Greg Todd, shares my passion for travel, and although his interests vary somewhat, we make an outstanding team on the road.
Hey! I’m Greg, the other half of this globetrotting team. I got my first dose of serious travel when I joined the Air Force back in 1976. In my 20 years of service I lived in six different countries on four continents. Travel just became part of who I am. In fact, since I’ve been out of the Air Force I’ve lived in nine different states … the nomad in me just won’t die!
I love traveling to Central and South America, as well as Eastern Europe. In the last few years Cher and/or I (we sometimes travel independently) have traveled to Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and Oceana – not to mention numerous road trips across the United States.
Checking destinations off our Bucket List has become our full-time focus and we’re loving every minute of it. I hope you visit often to see what we’re up to. And be sure to leave us comments so we know what you enjoy hearing about most.
About Bucket List Travel Club
First off I guess I should explain that the Bucket List Travel Club isn’t really a club … at least not in the traditional sense. There are no members; there are no dues. Instead it’s a virtual gathering place for those who have places they still want to go and things they still want to see and do.
That’s where the Bucket List part of the equation comes in. If you don’t already have a Bucket List, I strongly encourage you to make one … especially for travel. It’ll give you purpose and direction, and I’m betting you find you actually achieve a whole lot more than you did without one. Bucket Lists are good for a lot of other things, too. If you’re interested, check out “5 Reasons You Should Have a Bucket List.”
I’m really glad you stopped by and hope you take a few minutes to poke around the site. We’ve shared everything from our experience eating scorpions in Vietnam to catching stingrays in Grand Cayman.
We’d love to get to know you better as well. Why not join the club and subscribe right now? The Bucket List Travel Club … where curiosity meets adventure!
